Ware House Cottage straddles the Devon/Dorset border in the small hamlet of Ware just to the West of Lyme Regis. This single storey barn conversion sits within 40 acres of the owners home which was the setting for The French Lieutenant’s Woman. This area is a walkers paradise with a number of scenic and rural walks on your doorstep as well as access to the South West Coast Path which is just 500 yards from your door. Lyme Regis is just half a mile away with its golden sandy beaches, restaurants, shops, fossil hunting and famous cobb.
The accommodation at Ware House Cottage comprises of a large open plan living area with beams, wooden floor, woodburning stove, TV, DVD player and small library, CD player and WiFi. The kitchen/diner also has an oak floor and comes equipped with oven with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a range of accessories and utensils. There is a table and seating for four. There are two bedrooms, a 5ft double with en-suite shower room and a twin. There is a family bathroom with bath, basin and toilet.
Outside there is a large, enclosed lawned garden with patio complete with furniture and barbecue. There is a secure cycle store and parking for up to three cars. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' is the most westerly town in Dorset and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The town is famed for its fossils which can be found on its beaches and cliffs. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featued in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles as well as Jane Austen's Persuasion.

The Town Mill dates back to 1340 and is fully restored to working order and still produces flour which can be purchased from its shop. Lyme Regis Museum houses a large collection of local memorabilia, historical items and exhibits explaining the local geological and palaeontological treasures. Set into the pavement, outside the museum, is an ornate example of Coade stone work, in the form of ammonites. The Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is also located in Lyme Regis in the former church where Mary Anning, famous fossil collector, dealer, and paleontologist was christened.
