The Doves is an annexe attached to the owner's home with incredible views over Freshwater Bay and the South coast and is located on the edge of popular Burton Bradstock. The village is very well provisioned with the Three Horseshoes pub, the Anchor Inn and the Hive Beach Cafe with it's stunning sea views, a post office and village store and the cliff top Seaside Boarding House Restaurant. The beach itself, Hive Beach, is made up of very small shingle and coarse sand, which is lovely to walk along and hunt out a fossil. The beach will be familiar to anyone that watches Broadchurch as it has featured on several occasions. There is lots to explore close by including Bridport just over 2 miles away with its markets, the West Dorset Golf Club is just over 1 mile away, Lyme Regis with its sandy beach and famous Cobb 13 miles away with the county town of Dorchester and more sandy beaches at Weymouth 16 miles away.
The accommodation at The Doves comprises of a living room with dining area with TV, DVD player and WiFi enabled throughout. The kitchen comes well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There are two bedrooms arranged as a double with en suite shower room on the ground floor and a double with en suite shower room.
Outside is a pretty garden complete with patio area with table and chairs. There is off road parking for one car. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

With the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap, West Bay is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season. There are lots of fishing trips available in the summer, including deep sea fishing. Boats can also be hired to row up the River Brit towards Bridport.
