The Alfriston Suite lies at the heart of the village of Burton Bradstock in a self-contained wing of the owners home. The closest beach is just 1 mile away but you are well located to explore the whole of the Jurassic Coast. Lyme Regis with its famous cobb, Weymouth with the Aquarium and sandy beach, Golden Cap with its magnificent views and Portland with its wealth of outdoor activities are all within easy reach. There are many country house, Abbotsbury Swannery and Tropical Gardens a short drive away and walks along the South West Coast path.
The accommodation at The Alfriston Suite is all on the ground floor and comprises of a living room with French doors leading to the patio, Freeview TV, DVD player and WiFi. There is a dining table with chairs for two and a kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The bedroom is arranged as a double and there is an en-suite shower room with basin and toilet.
Outside there is a patio with sitting-out area complete with furniture. There is parking available for one car and your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.
With the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap, West Bay is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season.
