Silver Birch 1 is a great open plan lodge located near Rousdon on the Devon/Dorset border. Complete with your own hot tub, an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool and great facilities on the 5 star rated park it will be a tough choice whether to stay on site or go and explore the area. Just a few minutes drive to Lyme Regis this makes an excellent base from which to holiday on the area with beautiful countryside on one hand and the Jurassic Coast on the other.
The accommodation at Silver Birch 1 comprises of an open plan living area that has two leather sofas, a 40" Freeview TV, DVD player and access to the balcony through the patio doors. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, grill, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and range of utensils and accessories. The dining area has table and seating for six. The master bedroom is arranged as a double and has a private dressing room, dressing table, wardrobe and en-suite shower room with walk in shower cubicle, basin and toilet. Bedroom two is a twin and there is a family bathroom with shower over bath, basin and toilet.
Outside there is a private patio area with picnic table and your own private hot tub. There is a balcony attached to the lodge complete with table and chairs. The park includes a children's play area as well as an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, a children's paddling pool and a sun terrace complete with loungers. There is parking available for two cars with additional parking at the visitors car park if needed. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' is the most westerly town in Dorset and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The town is famed for its fossils which can be found on its beaches and cliffs. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featued in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles as well as Jane Austen's Persuasion.

These days, areas of interest include the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium which displays local fish and marine life from the Jurassic Coast. The Town Mill dates back to 1340 and is fully restored to working order and still produces flour which can be purchased from its shop. Lyme Regis Museum houses a large collection of local memorabilia, historical items and exhibits explaining the local geological and palaeontological treasures. Set into the pavement, outside the museum, is an ornate example of Coade stone work, in the form of ammonites. The Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is also located in Lyme Regis in the former church where Mary Anning, famous fossil collector, dealer, and paleontologist was christened.
