Seascape is located in the seaside town of Charmouth on the Dorset coast just 5 minutes walk from famous Fossil Beach. With a selection of shops, a couple of pubs, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance from your door you are well placed to explore this beautiful area. Seascape has the added bonus of sea views over Lyme Bay, a sight you will want to come back to again and again. Charmouth is an excellent location for walkers with the South West Coast footpath and a network of inland footpaths on your doorstep. The coastal views are matched only by the beauty of the countryside so deciding which route to take will be hard.
The accommodation at Seascape comprises of a first floor entrance accessed from the garden to a sun room and onto the lounge/diner with sea views over Lyme Bay and the countryside. There are two comfortable sofas, TV, DVD player and WiFi. The kitchen comes well equipped with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom has bath with shower over, toilet and basin. Up to the second floor where there are two bedrooms. Bedroom one is a double while bedroom two can be arranged as either a double or a twin so please specify when booking what would be best for your party. A travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available on request.
Outside, steps lead to an attractive, enclosed garden complete with patio and furniture. There is off road parking available for one car. Your fuel, power and bed linen are all included in the price.
Lying at the mouth of the river Char and overlooking Lyme Bay stands Charmouth, hemmed in by the steep hills of Stonebarrow Hill to the east and to the west Black Venn. It is very picturesque and the National Trust controls significant portions of the scenic areas around the town. The area is noted for its fossils and is part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The area has a rich history dating back to the Iron Age and has had many royal visitors including Catherine of Aragon and King Charles II. There are a number of buildings in the village with listed status with many dating back to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.Read more
