Marbles is set on a 350 acre private estate that has its own beech just three quarters of a mile from the cottage. Located on the Jurassic Coast between Lyme Regis and Beer, the cottage sits on the end of a row and enjoys countryside views. Visit the caves at Beer or the miniature railway at Pecorama or travel to Lyme Regis and it's famous Cobb.
The accommodation at Marbles consists of a large living/dining room with wooden floor with Freeview TV, DVD player, radio/CD player and iPod dock. The kitchen includes a microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.
Spiral stairs lead to the first floor where you will find a double bedroom with 5ft bed and a twin bedroom. A bathroom with over bath shower and toilet rounds off the inside accommodation.
Outside there is a cobbled courtyard with furniture but you have access to 350 acres of grounds on the estate. There is parking available for 2 cars and a beautician, private chef and complimentary newspaper can be arranged for you. A travel cot and high chair can be provided and electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' is the most westerly town in Dorset and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The town is famed for its fossils which can be found on its beaches and cliffs. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featued in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles as well as Jane Austen's Persuasion.

These days, areas of interest include the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium which displays local fish and marine life from the Jurassic Coast. The Town Mill dates back to 1340 and is fully restored to working order and still produces flour which can be purchased from its shop. Lyme Regis Museum houses a large collection of local memorabilia, historical items and exhibits explaining the local geological and palaeontological treasures. Set into the pavement, outside the museum, is an ornate example of Coade stone work, in the form of ammonites. The Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is also located in Lyme Regis in the former church where Mary Anning, famous fossil collector, dealer, and paleontologist was christened.
