Little Berwick Cottage lies 2 miles outside of the village of Burton Bradstock in a quiet lane in wonderful countryside. This detached, thatched property has parts dating back to the 17th century and benefits from a ground floor bedroom. The closest shop is the nearby farm just a quarter of a mile from the cottage selling free range eggs, fresh milk and delicious cream and honey. The surrounding countryside has plenty of wildlife including deer, rabbits and pheasants and plenty of walking routes from which to enjoy both country lanes and the magnificent World Heritage Status Dorset coastal path. The village of Burton Bradstock has two pubs and the famous Hive Beach Cafe which is renowned for its fresh fish dishes and certainly worth a visit.
The accommodation at Little Berwick Cottage comprises of a sitting room with dining area with Freeview TV, DVD player, wood burning stove and WiFi enabled throughout with a large dining table and chairs for eight. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a small dining area with great views out to the garden. There is a ground floor twin bedroom and a shower room. There are an additional four bedrooms upstairs, two king size doubles and two singles. The bathroom has a bath with hand held shower, basin and toilet. A cot can be made available upon request.
Outside is a large lawned garden complete with furniture. There is off road parking for three cars. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

With the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap, West Bay is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season. There are lots of fishing trips available in the summer, including deep sea fishing. Boats can also be hired to row up the River Brit towards Bridport.
