Lilac Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched cottage in the Dorset village of Burton Bradstock, just under 2 miles from West Bay. You are just a few minutes walk away from the Jurassic Coast, coastal and river walks, within a short walk of two pubs one of which has an award winning restaurant. Lilac Cottage is 350 years old but was completely refurbished in 2015 with a completely new bathroom and refreshed kitchen. A perfect base in which to explore this beautiful part of Dorset.
The accommodation at Lilac Cottage comprises of a lounge with TV, Blu-ray player, digital radio and WiFi. The kitchen/diner has an electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a circular dining table with chairs for four. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath with shower over, basin and toilet. Up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. Bedroom one is a kingsize double and bedroom two can be arranged as either a super kingsize double or twin singles. A travel cot, high chair and stair gate can be provided.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a lawned and patio area complete with furniture. On street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

With the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap, West Bay is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season. There are lots of fishing trips available in the summer, including deep sea fishing. Boats can also be hired to row up the River Brit towards Bridport.
