Inglenook Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Nettlecombe about 5 miles inland from Bridport. This 200 year old semi-detached cottage has many original features including exposed beams and as it name suggest, an inglenook fireplace. It also benefits from being a very short walk from the award winning local pub with a reputation for fine food.
The accommodation at Inglenook Cottage comprises of a lounge/diner with woodburner in inglenook fireplace with bread oven, TV with Freeview and DVD player. The kitchen comes equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave. The bedrooms are arranged as a double and a twin. The bathroom has bath with shower over, basin and toilet.
Outside there is an enclosed patio area with seating. There is ample free parking available in the adjacent pub car park. One dog is welcome at £20 for the week. Your bed linen, electric and fuel are all included in the price.

Bridport is a market town on the Jurassic coast. The clay cliffs are abundant with fossils making the area popular with fossil hunters. Its most famous landmark is the view of the conical Colmers Hill with small clump of trees aligned with West Steet. Bridport has an arts centre, cinema, library and museum. The museum includes an extensive exhibition of the town's long history of rope-making and is open 10am - 5pm daily except Sunday from Easter until the end of October. Entry and access to all exhibitions is free. The Bridport Literary Festival has been running since 2005 and has played host to the industries biggest names. The Food Festival is held in late June at Asker Meadow and showcases locally produced foods for which the area is well known. The Food Festival week concludes with the Round Table Beer Festival. The town holds its annual carnival on the third Saturday in August.
