Haddon Lodge is a detached bungalow in the village of Morcombelake, equidistant between Bridport and Lyme Regis. Set all on one level the accommodation is ideal fro both couples and families and is perfectly located to explore both the countryside and coast of beautiful West Dorset. The village is full of charm and has a farm shop, bakery and post office. The area is a walkers dream with Charmouth beach a 45 minute walk along the coastal path, the National Trust land at Golden Cap is within easy walking distance, as are the pretty villages and rolling countryside around the Marshwood Vale.
The accommodation at Haddon Lodge comprises of a lounge with TV, DVD player and WiFi. There is a separate dining room and the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms arranged as a double and a twin. There is one bathroom with bath with shower over, basin, separate toilet and heated towel rail. A utility area houses a washer/dryer.
Outside there is an enclosed garden with patio area complete with furniture. Haddon Lodge accepts up to two well behaved dogs. There is off road parking for one car with additional parking for a further car available by arrangement with the owner. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Lying at the mouth of the river Char and overlooking Lyme Bay stands Charmouth, hemmed in by the steep hills of Stonebarrow Hill to the east and to the west Black Venn. It is very picturesque and the National Trust controls significant portions of the scenic areas around the town. The area is noted for its fossils and is part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The area has a rich history dating back to the Iron Age and has had many royal visitors including Catherine of Aragon and King Charles II. There are a number of buildings in the village with listed status with many dating back to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
