Court House Farmhouse is one of two holiday cottages on a working farm located in Whitchurch Canonicorum just a couple of miles away from the seaside town of Charmouth. A roomy and inviting interior provides a welcoming area for large families or groups of friends to holiday together. In addition there is a shared barn with pool, skittles and table tennis. A large, enclosed garden is perfect for children to play in while the adults can relax and enjoy the views of the Dorset countryside. A hot tub provides the perfect place to relax and plan your next day while a gravelled seating area provides an excellent place for outside dining and barbecues. The village itself has a pub just 10 minutes walk away that provides home cooked food and a selection of local beers. The property is pet friendly, accepting 2 well behaved dogs and Charmouth is less than 2 miles away with a dog friendly beech. Being on the South West Coast Path you will never be short of a walk or two.
The accommodation at Court House Farmhouse comprises of a sitting room with comfortable furniture, TV with FreeSat, DVD player and WiFi enabled throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a twin electric oven and hob, two microwaves, fridge, freezer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, washer/dryer and table and chairs for dining. The conservatory provides an excellent place to relax and has fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. It is very easy to see why the the countryside has been awarded an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from this vantage point. There are 5 bedrooms, a double with child's single with an en suite shower room, two ground floor doubles, a twin room and a ground floor twin room. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with shower over bath, basin and toilet and also a shower room with basin and toilet. A highchair and cot can be made available upon request.
Outside is a good sized garden with patio area and gravelled area complete with furniture and barbecue. An open sided barn holds the hot tub with countryside views. There is ample off road parking. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Area details
Lying at the mouth of the river Char and overlooking Lyme Bay stands Charmouth, hemmed in by the steep hills of Stonebarrow Hill to the east and to the west Black Venn. It is very picturesque and the National Trust controls significant portions of the scenic areas around the town. The area is noted for its fossils and is part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The area has a rich history dating back to the Iron Age and has had many royal visitors including Catherine of Aragon and King Charles II. There are a number of buildings in the village with listed status with many dating back to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
