Cobblestones is nestled in a quiet lane full of attractive cottages in the heart of Lyme Regis. The seafront promenade, shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, tea rooms and gardens are all just a stone's throw from the cottage. There is so much to do in Lyme Regis you could ditch the car for the week until it was time to go home. Visit celebrity chef Mark Hix's Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, the town has The Philpot Museum described by Sir David Attenborough as "A delightful and remarkable museum, a gem", the Aquarium, The Town Mill, the Dinosaur Fossil Museum, boat tours of the area, a cinema, a theatre, fossil guided tours and walks aplenty as it sits on the South West Coast Path and of course mucking around on the sandy beach which consistently gets awarded a blue flag for water quality and environmental management.
The accommodation at Cobblestones comprises of a hallway leading to a kitchen equipped with a large breakfast bar, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and tumble dryer. The lounge is of a generous size with sofas, TV, DVD player, electric fire and WiFi. French doors lead to a conservatory with dining table and chairs and further doors lead outside. A cloakroom with basin and toilet rounds off the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double and a bedroom with two 3ft singles and an additional 3ft day bed with a small balcony accessed by French doors with views across LYme Regis and glimpses of the sea. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and toilet. A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request.
Outside the conservatory is a paved area and there is also a large south facing garden laid to gravel in which you can sit and relax. Parking is available in Charmouth Road or Holmbush car parks are about a 5 minute walk away with charges from as little as £2 per day. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' is the most westerly town in Dorset and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The town is famed for its fossils which can be found on its beaches and cliffs. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featued in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles as well as Jane Austen's Persuasion.

Lyme Regis Museum houses a large collection of local memorabilia, historical items and exhibits explaining the local geological and palaeontological treasures. Set into the pavement, outside the museum, is an ornate example of Coade stone work, in the form of ammonites. The Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is also located in Lyme Regis in the former church where Mary Anning, famous fossil collector, dealer, and paleontologist was christened.
