Benoy Cottage is set at the heart of a working dairy farm, surrounded by beautiful countryside with great views over Dorset and Devon from the top of the nearby Pilsdon Pen, the second highest point in Dorset. Benoy Cottage was completely renovated in 2009 and offers a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area as well as a furnished decked balcony.
Benoy Cottage is just a few miles away from the dramatic Jurassic Coast, England’s first World Heritage Site. The popular market town of Bridport is a short drive away and the picturesque harbour town of Lyme Regis is also a short drive away where you can find an array of shops, eateries and beaches.
Benoy Cottage will provide a luxury hamper for each booking. Guests staying for 7 nights will receive: A loaf of bread, box of eggs, milk, home made scones, jam and cream, butter, local bacon and tea and coffee. Guests staying 3 or more nights will receive: A loaf of bread, home made scones, jam and cream, milk, tea and coffee.
The accommodation at Benoy Cottage consists of an open plan living area with exposed beams and brick work furnished with a two seater leather sofa, coffee table, side tables, cabinet with TV, DVD player, CD player and iPod docking station. The dining area features a table and seating for two and a high chair is provided. Two sets of French doors leading to the decked balcony.
The spacious kitchen features an electric oven with grill, electric hob, fridge and washing machine. Although there is no freezer, the fridge includes an ice box. A full range of utensils and accessories including a microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere are available. A vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board are available.
The bedroom is spacious with high ceiling and exposed beams and is furnished with a double bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers. A travel cot is provided. The bathroom features a bath with overhead shower, wash basin, wc, shaver point, mirror and hair dryer.
Outside is a decked, furnished balcony and a communal lawned area. Beautiful countryside views surround Benoy Cottage. There is parking space for two cars on the drive.

Broadwindsor is a small village set in the beautiful countryside of West Dorset. It has been a popular area for a long time with evidence of occupation dation all the way back to 43 AD. The setting in the middle of the village is of lovely cottages with period houses and the village also features the Broadwindsor Craft and Design Centre, featuring local crafts. The village square is much-photographed, especially King Charles Cottage, the place where King Charles II stayed the night September 22/23 after his flight from the battle of Worcester.

Broadwindsor has a village shop and has one pub which serves food throughout the week. A short trip in the car will bring you to an array of many different options.
