Mill Pool Cottage lies in Sandleheath on the Hampshire/Dorset border and close to the New Forest National Park. This detached cottage sits on the water's edge and has wonderful woodland views from the garden. With the New Forest on your doorstep and the golden sands of Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast a short drive away it makes for an excellent base to explore the area.
The accommodation at Mill Pool Cottage comprises of a large, beamed open plan ground floor living/kitchen/diner with Freeview TV, compact kitchen area equipped with microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer and freezer in an outhouse. There are two bedrooms, a double and a bunk room each with a basin and a bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin.
Outside there is a small enclosed garden with patio complete with furniture. There is parking available for two cars and your bed linen, towels, electricity and oil for central heating are all included in the price.

Ringwood is on the Dorset/Hampshire border and stands on the western edge of the New Forset National Park. It is a historic market town and still has a lively market each Wednesday morning. The river Avon gently meanders through and there is a good choice of quaint and new shops as well as a good choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes.

The New Forest Wildlife Park is 25 acres of beautiful woodland and is home to all sorts of wildlife including otters, bison, wart hogs, wolves and lynx. A great way to enjoy nature. Keeping with the outdoor theme, Exbury Gardens is a spectacular 200 acre woodland garden famous for its rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias and is hugely colourful in Spring and Autumn. The Ringwood Brewery offers tours all year round taht includes a drink and there is a shop on site too if you have liked what you have consumed.
Moors Valley Country Park is a 1000 acre country park between Ringwood and St Leonards. It has woodland, heathland, grassland, lakes and rivers with trails to explore both on foot and by bike. The narrow gauge steam railway will take you on a mile ride but if that is too sedate then try the High Wire Adventure Course instead. For something more adrenaline filled try Matcham Karting which caters for ages from 8 years old and races in all different types of formats, from Grand Prix to Enduro.
Ringwood and the surrounding area offer a large range of cafes, restaurants and country pubs and caters for all budgets and tastes as well. There are too many to list here but suffice to say you will be well catered for when holidaying in the area.
